Description

Henzel Studio is honored to have collaborated with multidisciplinary artist Katerina Jebb, who has devised a system employing digital scanning machines to create works of art, on a limited-edition collection of art rugs, encompassing highlights from Jebb’s archive selected in collaboration with the artist. Through her exploration of the medium in parallel with technological innovation Jebb manufactures composite imagery which contradicts the immediacy of its making. The resulting images have been recognized as a new visual medium and included in museums notably The Whitney Museum New York, The Metropolitan Museum New York, and V&A Museum London. Jebb’s work was the subject of a solo exhibition in 2016 at Musée Réattu Arles, France.
